"MARSHES" TO SPONSOR DUNDALK’S "R Schools Got Talent"
The Marshes Shopping Centre has signed on as the key sponsor for the “R Schools Got Talent 2010” competition. With live heats being held in the Shopping Centre throughout September and October, shoppers will be entertained by the talented primary and secondary school children of Dundalk and surrounding areas. The Argus Newspaper and LMFM are the event's media partners ensuring maximum publicity for the successful acts each week.
This exciting and engaging talent competition is open to all Singers, Dancers, Comedians, Poets and Variety Acts from Primary, (4th, 5th and 6th classes), and Secondary Schools in Dundalk and the surrounding area. With a prize fund of €10,000 and the vast wealth of talent that is found in the region, this contest promises to be an exhilarating entertainment event for the entire family. Split into Junior and Senior categories, live auditions will be held in the Marshes Shopping Centre during September and October, followed by Quarter-Finals in November, Semi-Finals in December and the Grand-Final in January of 2011, all to be held in the Fairways Hotel.
