Following the success of McArdle Meats and Marshes Shopping Centre ‘Kids in the Kitchen’ cookery workshop, Marshes and McArdle Meats are now hosting a series of classes aimed at adults.

The first series of workshops are set to commence Thursday 5th November, 6.30pm – 8.30pm with ‘Mediterranean Medley’. Keith Shortt, McArdle Meats says;

‘This cooking course offers delicious recipes packed with Mediterranean flavors. An ideal course if you are looking for new ideas for entertaining family and friends. We will be preparing three dishes and all guests will sample all food on the evening. Wines to complement the dishes will be served.’

Fish for Thought
Thursday 12th November

This class is a chance to learn a selection of easy tasty fish dishes. Fish is often the most popular dish on restaurant menus but we rarely cook it at home. This is an opportunity to get confident in the kitchen with delicious fish recipes. Expert wine merchants will be on hand to give great tips on how to select the right wines to complement our fish recipes and of course all food and wine will be sampled.

Effortless Entertaining
Thursday 19th November
6.30pm – 8.30pm
€28 per person

This class does exactly what it says on the tin. Learn how to produce a delicious stress-free three course meal. Sometimes we are reluctant to host dinner parties because we end up spending most of the night in the kitchen. This class provides you with hassle free recipes so you can enjoy the night. Wine experts have chosen delicious wines to complement the meal so you should end up a very popular host/ hostess! As always participants will sample all food and wine on the evening.

Devilish Desserts
Thursday 26th November
6.30pm – 8.30pm
€28 per person

This evening class is not for the faint hearted! Bring your sweet tooth and prepare to be in heaven. We will be baking three irresistible desserts that are guaranteed crowd pleasers. Our wine experts have picked some truly delicious wines to complement our desserts and everyone will enjoy sampling both wines and puddings!
